South Chapter Diecutting & Diemaking 101 Workshop
Program: The workshop is designed for those who are new to diecutting and diemaking or have limited experience with it.
The course will cover:
- Basics of the cutting die
- The Makeready Process
- Creasing Matrix, Phenolic Counters & Steel Counters
- Diecutter Demo
- Intro to Blanking and Stripping
- Troubleshooting / Do’s and Don’ts

Program Audience: Entry level positions in diecutting and diemaking and students with a mechanical background.

Registration Fees: $35 USD IADD Members; $45 USD Non-Members; High school students and students from technical colleges will receive complimentary registration.
Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. (Limit of two registrants per company).
