Enrollment is Open for the Diemaking 101 Online Training Program
The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) has partnered with The Packaging School to offer Diecutting Academy, an online learning platform that includes training programs for the diecutting and diemaking industry. The second online course to be announced is Diemaking 101.
"We are excited to offer this online course,” says IADD President-Elect and acting Vice President of Education, Robert McCann of Bobst North America. “Our industry is essential and Diemaking 101 is a great way to give people a good foundation. Our goal is to make learning accessible to everyone—no matter their level of experience or where they are located.”
Diemaking 101 starts with an introduction to both diecutting and diemaking that summarizes tooling options from the past to the present. The lessons will cover the product to be diecut, common types of presses, steel rule knife and toolholder / dieboard parameters and ejection materials, and are chock-full of technical information.
The course includes 22 lessons, 13 videos and can be completed in a few hours online. Employees can work at their own pace and will receive a certificate upon completion. Diemaking 101 is perfect for customer service representatives, production coordinators, converters, toolmakers and new employees.
Enrollment for Diemaking 101 is now open for the low cost of $299 USD. IADD members will receive a $100 USD discount at registration; contact IADD staff for the special discount code and other ways to save.
