Registration Now Open for the Lake Michigan Chapter Converters Gasket Xchange

IADD News,

Registration is now open for the IADD Lake Michigan Chapter Converters Gasket Xchange. The program will be held in Palatine, IL, USA on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. This one-day event will provide technical solutions and education for those who manufacture and work with gaskets.

Technical Education Focused on Gaskets

The IADD Xchange was designed with diecutters and diemakers in mind and provides focused technical information for a specific sector of the industry. At the request of local members, the Lake Michigan Chapter officers have worked with a group of volunteers to bring you programming focused on gasket diecutting.

“Our goal for the Lake Michigan Chapter region is to bring the technical education needed to the area. When I heard from multiple members in the chapter that gasket information was of interest, we got to work!” says IADD Lake Michigan Chapter Chair, James Banister of Bobst North America. “We’ve got a great event put together and if you make dies for or cut difficult substrates this is the event for you.”

The expert line-up will cover topics including:
•    Critical Set-up Methods for Gaskets
•    Selecting the Correct Rule for Your Material
•    Troubleshooting Substrates/Ejection materials
•    Considerations for Electric Vehicle Fuel Cells and Batteries
•    Effective Heat Sealing and Thermoforming Manufacturing
•    Ask the Experts: Q&A panel
